Gineva – SLOW

Gin Eva represents an authentic expression of the Mediterranean culture and way of life. “We fell in love with all these wonderful Mediterranean flavors and we wanted to capture them in a bottle.” Gin Eva’s unique flavor comes from Mallorcan juniper berries, botanicals and locally grown citrus fruits. All ingredients are distilled in a traditional copper pot by Eva Maier and Stefan Winterling.

We started working with the brand by drawing up strategic guidelines. As part of the strategy, we focus on its strengths and what Gin Eva is: Mediterranean, not just a place, but a natural and lively attitude. And from here the brand concept on which we work was born: Mediterraneanist, the one who lives, loves and defines the Mediterranean way of life, its people, its nature and its places and habits.

In the first phase of work, the redesign of the gin collection (La Vermella, La Mallorquina, La Bergamota, Old Tom, La Canoneta, S’Horabaixa) was carried out, seeking a look consistent with the brand concept: natural, organic and artisan. All of this, with a certain class and a premium finish. The result is a collection in which each bottle has its own character, like gins, but keeping a common conceptual-visual line. Subsequently, we also worked on other packaging pieces such as the tasting bottles or the limited edition La Llum de S’horabaixa bottles.

We also started the Mediterranean products collection which includes merchandising and the launch of a newspaper on life, times, the Mediterranean and gin and cooking. At the same time, we create the Mediterraneanist Journal as an organic and alive way to introduce the product and the brand with articles, news and other contents. And of course, all the development of the website and ecommerce was done.

The creative direction of the brand also includes the photographic and video content for social media (from the “Stefan Meets” where we present inspiring people that represent the Mediterranean spirit to the video pieces introducing the bottles), and the proposal and visual development of brand actions, events and campaigns (“La de Mallorca” was conceived as a way to explain the identification of the brand values with the island).

The project takes on a new dimension with the new gin distillery space in Llucmajor, which we named Casa Eva and in which we developed the art direction and mood. The space includes a showroom with an area for tastings and workshops, a store, a kitchen and a terrace.

Reflecting the concept and spirit of the brand in every detail is hard work but much easier when you do it with a natural, open and receptive client. Cheers.
