Brand Building, Graphic Design, Art Direction

If you know Dani you know he’s a huge fan of denim, no doubts. Being in Duke store, he saw a pair of jeans that he had never seen before: Companion. Then, he was told that jeans were made in a workshop near Barcelona. We checked the website and we wanted to meet Iu, the man behind the brand. So, one day we went to the Companion workshop in Sabadell.

He showed us his passion for denim, he showed materials and he explained the philosophy of the project. Each pair of jeans is designed and handcrafted with the utmost attention to detail and an obsessively manicured confection. The jeans are artisanally crafted with a selection of the best sewing machines for denim, and a mix of both, modern machines and classic vintage machines which made the jeans of the old times.

We wanted to do something together and, after launching Hug jeans, we founded some pieces for the brand, looking up the Milan Fair of Denim.

Until now we’ve made prints and we’ve designed some shirts and labels, hoping to keep the collaboration with the same passion as in when it was born.

Long life.
