logo, Brand Building

The people at AIÖ asked us for a new brand image and a new logo, which were to be launched with the spring/summer collection 2018. Shortly after, we turned the studio into a place with plenty of games: if there is one thing that every kid loves, it is playing. After analyzing the market and the history of the brand, we saw that the new logo had to be elegant and top level. But it also had to be playable. A logo thought for children and by children.

Of all the games, we picked the wooden construction sets. Meanwhile, we were looking for ways to write the name: finally, we wrote it with geometric figures: AIÖ can be simplified in triangles, rectangles and circles.
We wanted to build the wooden pieces and then use them to write the name in different styles. To give the pieces an elegant touch, we chose oak wood. We painted them black to make them look a bit more sophisticated.

Once we got the pieces, we played with them, trying to find different ways to write the name, putting them in order and jumbling them back to disorder. We played.
And so, we got a logo that you can play with. It will be made public in the spring 2018 and, slowly, it will be applied to the whole brand.
